Meet the Wulvers...
Happy September everyone! The good news is that you can now preorder two of my 2019 releases, Wooing The Farmer, the third Axedale novel, and Blood Of The Pack, the third in the Wolfgang Series. First up is Wooing the Farmer, out March 1st 2019. Sam McQuade has watched her friends in Axedale fall in love and has been praying for her own love story. Quade finally gets it in the third Axedale book. It’s a sweet love story, with two adorable characters, who both need someone to love. Here’s the blurb - Penelope Huntingdon-Stewart, highly successful clean-eating food vlogger and owner of the website Penny’s Kitchen, is looking for a new direction for her brand. At least that’s what she tells herself when she retreats to Axedale to record a new web series and write a cookbook. That sounds so much better than damage control after her only live, on-screen interview ends in an oh-so-public epileptic seizure. Farmer Sam McQuade is immediately attracted to Penelope, but the ultra femme and high maintenance city girl seems way out of her league. When Penelope struggles to get her health on track, Quade insists on being her knight in shining armor, much to Penelope’s displeasure. Quade is annoyingly good-looking, not to mention kindhearted, and falling for her would be so easy. If only it didn’t force Penelope to face the secrets she’s hidden from everyone. Can love alone bring a complex city girl and a simple rural farmer together? Wooing The Farmer Preorder Next up is Blood Of The Pack, out August 1st 2019. I’ve been so excited about this book for a while, and now it’s on preorder I can share share the teaser. This third book opens up the werewolf world and brings in the other wolf packs from Europe. The title was was chosen for a reason. The Wolfgangs are very proud of the blood they share with their cousins across the pond, the British and Irish werewolf packs. They share the same blood and close bond with their ancestral packs. In this book we meet the Scottish Wulver Pack and the new Alpha Kenrick, who comes to visit her cousin Dante, and the Wolfgangs. Here’s the blurb- As the new Alpha of the Scottish Wulver pack, Kenrick Wulver has a bright future ahead. All she needs is her destined mate to share it with. Zaria Lupa isn’t looking for love. She’s been on the run from Leroux, Alpha of the American Lupa pack, ever since Leroux killed her sister. When the Lupa wolves find Zaria, she runs to Wolfgang County for protection, where Kenrick is visiting her friend Dante. Kenrick takes Zaria under her wing, showing her the care and attention she’s never experienced. Zaria refuses to believe she is Kenrick’s destined mate. To her, mating is just an excuse for abuse and control, no matter how kind Kenrick may seem. When Kenrick convinces Zaria to come to Scotland to visit the Wulver pack, she hopes for a fresh start. But the Lupa wolves aren’t finished with Zaria, and their revenge may destroy any chance at love. Blood Of The Pack Preorder I’m really excited about this new, bigger, werewolf world of the Scottish, English, Welsh, and Irish packs, and there’s lots more Wolfie action to come. Howlllllllll!!!!!!

First of all I must apologize for the lateness of this blog. July has been such a busy month. I’ve been visiting Axedale village, finishing up Wooing The Farmer—AKA Quade’s story.
It’s been so nice to be in Axedale again and giving Quade her love story, but I’m ready for my next adventure, which is related to some of the news in this month’s blog. But first I was delighted to find out that my book, Unexpected had won a Goldie award. It was extra special to me because Dale was a character very close to me heart. She was from Glasgow and I was able to slip in some local colour, which was fun. Thank you to the judges and all the readers who supported the book. It was also a coincidence that I had just signed a contract with Bold Strokes Books for a sequel to Unexpected. It’s called Someone To Love—An Unexpected Romance, and it’ll be a lot of fun to check in on Dale, Becca and their family. My second bit of news concerns the wolves of Wolfgang County. I know it’s been a long time since the first book, but on August 1st the second book, Soul Of The Pack is coming out. Here’s the blurb-- Wolf expert Maddox “Ripp” Rippington knows nothing about her past and has only ever felt at home among her wolves at Willow Creek Wolf Sanctuary. When the Sanctuary is shut down, she’s lost. The only clue to her past is a birth certificate with the name Ansel Wolfgang on it, but she has never been brave enough to track her father down. Until now. Kindergarten teacher Kyra Wolfgang is more than attracted to the mysterious human who arrives in Wolfgang County, a human as dominant and confident as any wolf she has ever met. For the first time in her life, Kyra knows the passion she has always longed for. But with the Wolfgang Alpha and Second distrustful of Ripp’s sudden appearance and her claim of a connection to the pack, does Kyra and Ripp’s love stand a chance? The good news is that although there’s been a long wait for a new wolfgang book, the wolves are about to get busy. In 2019 there’s going to be a third Wolf book called, Blood Of The Pack. I’m very excited about this book, because it’s going to expand the world of Wolfgang County in all sorts of exciting directions…I hope. So my book schedule, for those that are interested, is-- 2019 - Royal Court Wooing The Farmer Blood Of The Pack Someone To Love—An Unexpected Romance 19/20 It’s enough to keep me busy! This is the second in my video series is about the wolves of Wolfgang County. If you have any questions just put them in the comments below. Cheerho! :-) This month I thought I'd make a video series instead of a written blog. It'll be a bit of a retrospective look at all of my books so far. I'll tell you the background to the stories, and give you some hints and teasers about where the books are going. The first video is about the Royal Romance series. If you have any questions about the books, please leave your comments below, and I'll be more than happy to answer them. Don't forget to subscribe to my blog if you haven't already, to get my blogs, and vlogs straight to your inbox.. I hope you'll enjoy! Jenny :-) As my blog says I am a hopeless romantic, and my new release, Hunger for You, is a testament to that. In 2016 I wanted to have a bash at writing a erotic short story, based around the world of the Dapper butch, so I set to work. The short story was called Dapper, and It soon became very apparent that I couldn’t write erotica without love blossoming between my main characters, and so I decided to write Byron and Amelia’s love story. So how did I get from an erotic story about a Dapper butch to vampire clans? It’s funny how story ideas come to you, and in fact the character of Byron told me, in a roundbout way. I was writing one of the love scenes in Dapper, and then Byron suddenly had an urge to sofly bite the ankle of her lover Amelia, and it just hit me-she’s a vampire. She’s hiding a secret life, and hiding her true self from her lover Amelia. The world of Hunger for you soon followed quickly. The story takes place six months after Dapper, and Byron’s secret life is about to come crashing into Byron’s and Amelia’s burgeoning relationship. The moral of of the story is listen to your characters, and they can open up new worlds that you never considered writing about! Here’s the teaser – Being Principe of an ancient vampire dynasty comes with difficult choices. For Byron Debrek that means putting the good of her clan and innocent mortals over her own desires. When she falls for the first woman to set her blood on fire in centuries, Byron must harden her heart and walk away. For Amelia Honey, a suit designer at a Savile Row tailor, the six months spent with her first love were the most wonderful time of her life. Byron made her feel like a princess and awakened her darkest sexual desires. But then she disappeared, leaving her nothing but a first-class plane ticket and a broken heart. When a dangerous enemy befriends Amelia, Byron is compelled to act. Will she be able to regain Amelia’s trust and protect her? Or will pain and anger drive Amelia into the hands of Byron’s enemies, and into the middle of a vampire war? As always with my books, I have a playlist I write with. I play this every morning as start to write, and it gets me into the world that I'm writing about. The two major ones for Hunger for you were... My new book, Charming The Vicar is now available at all the usual outlets. Bold Strokes Books, ibooks, Amazon, and Audible in audiobook form. (Links Below)
I highly recommend the audiobook version if you would like to hear the Reverend Bridget Claremont, A.K.A Mistress Black, brought to life by the wonderful Nicola Victoria Vincent. In 'Charming The Vicar' a newcomer to Axedale forces Bridget to face a part of herself she has hidden deep down inside herself a long time ago. Finnian Kane brings out the kinkier side of the village vicar, and things heat up dramatically. The second thing that brings excitement and happiness this January is wedding bells. My partner Lou and I are getting married, on our 13th anniversary, the 27th of January. After a very difficult few years in our family it will be nice to celebrate some love and hope. As Lady Harry finds out in Courting the Countess, ‘“And now these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. Everything fell into place. Faith, hope, and love were all that mattered in life.” When you go through difficult times you realise how true that quotation is. Love and family are where life begins and where life ends. Luckily Lou and I share these similar values. I’ve written about a lot of weddings since I began to write back in 2010, and they tend to come at the end of the couple’s story, as an affirmation of their lifetime commitment together, the ending of the fairytale. But when you think about it, weddings are not the ending, they are the beginning of the couple’s love story, fairytale, and their happy ever after. Love stories last a lifetime. They may not be smooth, there may be hard times and difficulties along the way, but how you handle them— that’s what makes the love story. Love isn’t easy. Love takes time, patience, care, determination, and shared core values, if you have all of these then you hope your love story will be strong, and endure. This time it’s my turn to have the end of the book wedding, and unlike my characters, I’ll probably be undignified and cry all the way through, because as we’ve already established in previous blogs, I’m a hopeless romantic and an overemotional fool. One of the things I’m looking forward to is having my surname and my pen name match at last. When I began writing I used Lou’s surname for lots of reasons, one being that I knew when we married I’d be taking her name. So from the 27th I will officially be Jenny Frame in all areas of my life. Keep your fingers crossed we get some decent weather on the day! See you next month when I’ll officially be Mrs Frame. :-) You can buy Charming the Vicar at the links below, and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog. Time seems to have flown by this year, especially in the last few months. I have been deep into writing the next in the Wolfgang series, Soul Of The Pack, and now that’s finished and submitted to the publisher, my next release, Charming The Vicar, is just around the corner in January.
I’m so excited to share Charming The Vicar, the second in the Axedale series. This book tells the story of unconventional village Vicar, Harry’s best friend, and confidante, Bridget Claremont. When you’re writing a story, some characters come more easily to you than others. Some you have to work on, spending time getting to know them, fleshing out their backstories and finding that one thing that drives who they are. Then sometimes you are lucky and a character just comes alive in your mind, with all their passions, insecurities, and backstory with ease. When I was writing the first book, Courting The Countess, Bridget Claremont was that character. She was alive in 3D colour, bright and vibrant. She is how I would imagine an updated Agatha Christie village vicar, with a twist. Despite being an unconventional Vicar, Bridget fits Axedale like a glove, and is a perfect foil for Harry, her best friend and Lord of the manor. I could clearly see Bridget with leather jacket, Chanel mini skirt, and designer heels clattering down the cobbled streets of the old English village of Axedale. She just screamed out that she needed her own book, and as Quade tells Finn in the book, it’s best to do as Bridge says. And so Bridget got her own love story, and because of the kind of character she is, this book allowed me to explore a different kind of dynamic than I usually write. But when she tries to help the reclusive, tortured, staunchly atheist Finnian Kane, who is determined to hate everything Bridge represents—there are fireworks, and I hope you will all enjoy it. You can read an excerpt here... Here's the blurb... Finnian Kane, famous master of illusion, mentalist, and renowned atheist, has a crisis of faith after her sister’s death. She rents a cottage in the village of Axedale in Kent, desperately trying to find a safe haven from the intrusive media to grieve and work out how to move on. The Reverend Bridget Claremont makes it her mission to help the enigmatic Finnian find her faith in life again. Bridge has long yearned for a life partner, and her best friend’s wedding has intensified that desire. But when you’re a lesbian vicar in a small English village, it’s not easy to find your perfect match. Their chemistry is clear from the start, despite their different beliefs and Bridge insisting Finn isn’t her type. But will the mentalist find the magic that can charm the vicar? Next year is going to be busy. After Charming The Vicar, the next book is coming out on April 1st. It’s called Hunger For You, and tells the love story of Byron Debrek, and Amelia Honey, two characters I first wrote about in my short story Dapper. Blurb… Being Principe of an ancient vampire dynasty comes with difficult choices. Then on August 1st the second Wolfgang County story will be out, where a stranger to the county makes some waves, and ruffles some feathers, especially Caden’s. Blurb… Wolf expert Maddox “Ripp” Rippington knows nothing about her past and has only ever felt at home among her wolves at Willow Creek Wolf Sanctuary. And finally, I’m just starting to write the third in the Royal Romance series, Royal Court, which should be out December 2018. Phew! I told you it was busy. In January, I hope to have some more exciting news, so stay tuned, and hit the subscribe button at the side to get all the latest news to your inbox.
